So two days ago I started a new Instagram page and I'm hoping that in about 5 months by uploading some kind of viral stuff I may get to 100K, I'm starting this journey to keep me motivated and hopefully get some good tips from you guys.

I personally use hashtags that I find online by typing "(Niche) top hashtags" and there you get bunch of hashtags that you can just copy n paste.

These tags will not be effective for you. To get maximum benefit out of a hashtag you want to get into the top 9 that are displayed for a longer period of time versus the recent posts that are pushed down every time a new post is uploaded.

To be in the top 9 you must have a certain amount of engagement, similar to the other posts in the top. If you pick huge hashtags they're going to be occupied by big accounts with very high engagement, meaning that you will probably not get into the top. Try to pick hashtags with top posts having similar engagement to what you would get

Try different variations of popular tags until you find good tags you can hit

Say you wanted to put #food try #foods #foodlife #foodliving #food4days etc

You can also find accounts with similar engagement and try theirs out

Good luck! I'd say the biggest tip in terms of growth would be straight consistency. Don't stop for even one day or you'll lose the momentum.
