I don't really like the layout, but that's just my opinion.

Anything I can learn from to make something similar even if it is a template, tutorial, notes ect? I have always wanted to make a site something similar to this however when I took web design my teacher only taught us microsoft publisher so I never had the chance to learn dreamweaver and other stuff like it.
