Now firstly, this isn't a cry for attention. More just a question.
I am not suicidal in the sense I'm depressed and want to leave this world cause I can't deal.
I just wonder, it intrugies me death. I don't overly want to live, but death interests me. Why shouldn't I kill myself and see what it's like. It would be nothing, I would be nothing. I would become nothing, I find it hard to wrap my head around it but.
I would, just nothing.
Why shouldn't I go and do it?
Nothing. Go kill yourself. Bye.
Because there's much more in life than killing your self and taking no2.
Look at the bright motivational side.
We all die eventually. Why would you want to cut life short if you will experience it either way? Do it OP

Because offing yourself is the most selfish act you can do- you're not realizing the affect it will have around your friends and love ones.
I can say in short that suicide is not generally regarded as courageous, since suicide usually comes from a misplaced sense of hopelessness and the virtues are about judging things for what they are and not merely what they seem to be. Brains are very complicated hunks of machinery that sometimes make things seem other than they really are, and virtue requires the wisdom to avoid rash action based on misfiring machinery.

Hmm, we will all die yes, and the only thing making me not "want to" do it is that life is enjoyable in short bursts, and nothingness is you know. Nothing.
What if it's not nothing and for some weird illogical reason I stay coherent? I stay in spirit form :o
Because Jesse who is going to put the Chili P in the meth?

I recognise and understand the negative impact it would have on others. So I wouldn't do it, but in a hypothetical scenario. I kind of want to be dead, to experience it, if that makes sense. Die on my own terms. But if I'm dead I guess it isn't a experience
I appreciate your care, as clueless as I am I reckon I'll try figuring out life for myself haha thankyou though :)

Suicide by jumping would be very interesting. As you hit the ground before your brain realises.
You fall with an acceleration go 9.8m/s and your brain can't catch up, by the time you hit the ground your still a few metres up.
So you are dead but your only just processing being a few metres above the ground :o

The selfishness argument has always been very weird to me. I didn't ask to be born into this world, why should I not have the option to leave it? If I'm an adult, should I not have authority over my own body and what I do with it? To me it seems more selfish to tell others what they can and can't do with their lives.

Because you only die once and if there truly is nothing after then leave your mark on this world whether it be infamy or just by having kids so there is a future that can survive the human race and earth.
I have often thought of death and what it brings or I guess, what it doesn't and came to the conclusion to say fuck everything - there is only one reason to stay and that's to experience "something" before you spend eternity not experiencing "nothing"

don't do it man. Killing yourself is stupid, you'll die. There is plenty of time to be dead, don't cut your life short.
If you kill yourself, you will go to hell, and that's not a way anyone would want to spend eternity.
