Yeah at the end of each movie he would explain everything, literally sit their for another hour after the movie just talking about it, he hasn't watched The Hobbits though.

This thread reminds me I need to rewatch Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit soon, make a marathon out of it.

My favorite character from LOTR would easily be Gandalf, I absolutely love the actor and the character as portrayed in both book and movie. He also has such a great story, becoming the Gandalf the White. Such beautiful story-telling.
