Hey, just posting this because I bet someone will find a good way to make some cash off this by buying something and reselling it. Right now amazon is giving off $8.63 every purchase of $50 or more... Let me know if you make any money off this. They are basically giving away free money, so take this opportunity now and buy a ton of things and resell!

They got awarded #1 in corporate reputation, so I am just guessing they are trying to spread awareness for that with this. The $8.625 number that they calculated is probably just some number that some people in statistics figured out would not loose out on too profit.

The item needs to be sold by Amazon, not just fulfilled.

Alright, going to try and get more people interested in these deal. I can imagine someone here will buy stuff and resell it for big money.
