Perm Limited PayPal Account

Directly from PayPal:
Quote:For the safety and security of the PayPal network, we often review accounts for potential risks. After reviewing your account, we have decided to close it because of security issues.

We are making every effort to minimize any disruption to your business.

If your PayPal account balance is zero, and you have no unresolved buyer complaints or chargebacks, your account will remain limited.

and

Quote:At PayPal, we value a safe community for our customers to do business. We noticed activity in your account that’s inconsistent with our User Agreement and we can no longer offer you PayPal services.

Any bank or credit card information linked to your PayPal account cannot be removed nor can it be used to create a new account. You can still log in and see your account information but you can’t send or receive money. Any money in your balance will be held for 180 days, at which point we’ll send you an email with instructions about transferring your money.

I just sold some fucking yeezys for $1400 and they limit my account asking for more information about my business, then fuck me right in the ass after giving all info needed to remove my limitation. What the fuck should I do? I don't see anything about Acceptance Use Policy, just general safety?

What should I do I have over 1.5k in this fucking account and now it's permanently limited.
You're fine, wait 45 days and they'll mail you a check or do a bank transfer. One or the other

They make you wait 6 months actually
You should be able to withdraw the money still... and if they don't let you there is some kind of court order you can give them to force them to.

As for the account there's really nothing you can do, Paypal is one of the most corrupt corporations on the internet imo.

How many people do you think they do exactly this to (and limit the person with >1k in their account) but the person just doesn't know how to withdraw the money or doesn't care enough to do so and Paypal ends up pocketing it?
Nowadays? I'm just here for the nostalgia.
Well, you can try to talk to them with a way out. Should be fine. :)

If you've worked with PayPal for a while, you'll know there is near to no chance (I'm not saying 0% chance) that this will work.
Once they make a decision, they're most likely to not change it.
Once you're permanently limited, your only option is to email PayPal's back office but that'll give you an automated bullshit reply which won't help at all.

-> OP, did you use eBay to sell them? Or was it a direct payment from somebody?

Nahhhh, They do 45,90, and 180. 180 is literally the slowest they'll do.

I have never heard of a 45 or 90 day limit?
I have many friends who have gotten permanently limited and had to wait 180 days to withdraw.

It was a direct invoice, I'm going to see if I can refund them and them work out a deal with me through another payment option.

lol? I have the buyers direct contact info. and I can also issue refunds while limited, I don't understand your response.

Also, I did not break any rules by selling some fuckin shoes.
You're going to workout payment options with the buyer? Good luck dude! You'll probably get fucked.

Fuck yeah dude! A dude with over 50k feedback on ebay and a local and online shop for shoes is definitely gonna scam me for a $1400 pair of shoes. 🎉

Because it won't be scamming... If you refund, he just got the shoes and the money back. Just play it smart and wait 20 days, then contact paypal and get it cashed out in 45 days
