Hello i will be very thnkful
I want to put a dropdown filled with 3-5 location (different cities) of my choice.when i change city it should bring all the available products under specific category shown on home page .for example u can see livingsocial.com.au .same like livingsocial.livingsocisl have dropdown on the top .user change the city.it brings all the products ,deals under the categories shown on home page .i have the same layout ,modules.i want to implement this functionality.i will be very thankful if any one help in this regard .any code following oc 2.3.0.2 v for this functionality ?

So, what I'm understanding from this.

You want to make a dropdown and when a user selects something from the dropdown you load some products based on the category he selected.

You want this to with redirect or load the products on the page?

If you want to redirect you can do it via javascript or when he submits the form.

If you want to load the products on that page, you need to do it with ajax.

Edit: vQmod will allow you to add your code to a core opencart file, with XML format.

Oc mods aren't that hard to make. Open cart is also heavily documented.

Why not to support myselft by learning from others who use to deliever knowledge .i myself a starter in php mvc .

I don't think it would be that difficult to write something like this.
You could hire somebody to do this for you, but if you didn't want to buy a plugin I doubt you will do this.

Yea i didnt buy a plugin .and i dont want to hire one if i could get a help from my hackforum community .why need to spend money on hiring someone.if u know the code or function u can write me here .you are most welcome.if u guide me how can i ad this functionality in oopencart 2.3.0.2

Well start writing code and post it when you need help. There are tons of opencart skeleton plugins.
