Challenger

(Mar 9, 2017 04:48 PM)Omniscient Wrote:  You can often get a car cheaper through sites like Carmax.com and have them shipped than if you buy locally. You also get a much wider selection. This is the type of car that doesn't get sold very often and the Crazy Plum purple paint jobs are rare. There was only 1769 challengers produced that year with the color, even less on an SRT-8 392 Hemi.

Don't do it. They are crap. Never met a Camaro owner that was happy. They are cheap cars unless you get the SS. And their cabin visibility is terrible.

Yes, hit 120 but I need to bring it to the track to really open it up.

Let's just say I got an amazing deal. It's from a friend who has like 7 (now 6) cars and buys them just to buy them. It's 2013 and had 1800 miles on it.

My father owns a 1970 camaro Z28, he is really happy with it.
I have been in the car and the cabin visibility is just okay in the car.
But I guess for the newer models the cabin visibility are worse.

I like the older classic mucle cars more then the newer ones, but that is my opinion. Congrats with your new car.
Looks like Omni is putting awardwhores' money to good use.

And btw Omni, gotten used to opposite site of the gas-lead? I bet you have made some frustrating "ah fuck".
Not sure if this has been asked/answered before; how did you wreck the GT? This is definitely a nice purchase; I'm not much for American muscle, but you can't hate on a nice Challenger.
Hook up some go-pros to the side of it and take it out for a spin m8?

edit; Was the color purple have anything to do with HF? or just a coincidence
I think you would've been better off buying a Chevy. But hey... At least the maintenance and recalls will be fun ?

Correct. Classic/Older models don't have this problem.

The new models are fucking terrible when it comes to this.

Me being 6'7" I'm sure I couldn't see shit if I were to drive one.

I've never even been inside of the new Camaros but I just look at them and can tell you can barely see shit.

All of the windows are terribly small.

If you're ever in Missouri give me a shout, 2016 Camaro SS w/ a few modifications. They visibility is way better than the fifth generation that my dad had. I've driven a challenger and a camaro and honestly the camaro is better in every way... Then again some call me a brand loyalist ❓

Get a convertible, your head will probably be right at the pillar or above with the seat all the way down 🤣

See that car just isn't made for me.

I've driven a challenger and it has way more room for my big ass.
Looks like a delicious piece of metal.
Damn, I absolutely love the color.

Needs more manual transmission. Other than that, it's my dream car. I was ready to jump the gun and buy one before legal issues arose.
