So I attend a school with school provided laptops. These laptops are very shut down. Bios is locked. No local admin. It is connected to a domain as well which limits most common methods. I have been able to get to admin cmd prompt in automatic repair options. However any changes to accounts are not saved. I am able to get to regedit from here as well. I am looking to get local admin any advice would be great. I am a newbie btw.

If you're a newbie you shouldn't be doing anything risky or illegal. Yet.
"Hacking" is a broad term, what is the purpose and end goal? A common theme of these school hacking threads is that there is no end goal and you just want to get into things and cause trouble, in which case you're not going to get the desired goal, as there is no desired goal. See the issue? Even if you do have a desired goal, and you manage to do what you're planning, do you actually think the school will let that pass by? Professional establishments take what you're thinking about very seriously and won't hesitate to involve any if not all of their resources to find out who did what and for what reason. If you're planning on doing something illegal, don't be stupid. Get practice, and not just "I used command prompt for a month". Don't. Plus if you did something like hack your school to harass someone then you'd catch a felony. Felonies don't go away at 18. Do something like disrupt the education process? Guess what, you get charged with the loss that school incurs for not being able to instruct that day. Plus you'll get expelled and lose computer access for all of your public education career. lol you gotta be an idiot for trying to do these shit with ur school's laptop,
anything u do will also lead back to you, so i wouldn't recommend it :c “I wish I could say everything in one word. I hate all the things that can happen between the beginning of a sentence and the end.” ~ Leonard Cohen |
