Hopefully Maplestory and Runescape follow suit. It's becoming cringe how they're trying to stretch the game because of their long shelf life.

Well if we're giving games that title, I would say that Gary's Mod is. I love Gmod though lmao. It has a special place in my heart.

MAplstory needs to die. 30 classes deep, the game has been destroyed by mtx, impossible bosses, a huge gap in item stats to mesos worth, and inflation factored in. It's impossible for a new user to start.
Runescape has made some improvements, surprisingly. I enjoy the game, still. The end game bosses provide a challenge , without being impossible. It's still mechanically challenging. It's not everyone's cup of tea, though. But let's be 100% real. Most people who hate RS3 never made it past early-mid game lol

It blows my mind that Habbo and Gaia are still a thing.

I don't really do rep for rep so if you're using your daily rep on me save it for someone else ❤️
Long time fascination with computers, politics, some gaming, but less so nowadays.

Same here man. Habbo has pretty much been bleeding out for years now, how it isn't fully dead yet I have no idea.
What amazes me more is that there's still a marketplace for Habbo.

I honestly don't understand why you are "happy" of a game closing down. Maybe there were actually a few people out there who enjoyed playing it. If you hate it so much, why do you even spend time on hating it instead of just letting it be?

The Brazilian hotel still gets over 13k users online if I'm correct. They're far from dead anyways.

Ye it was cool back then as a like, alternative to Myspace with a forum and a marketplace to make it like a game. Now it's like, why?

I really don't know how they keep up server costs on that thing. lol
I feel like they'd need to like, ask users to donate money or something to hit a goal to hit end's meet lol
