I am a new user to HackForums and I am not very aware of site culture; to be cautious of ebooks; checking other member's reputation and warnings, etc.

48 Hours ago I had bought an ebook https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5587042 from vapefag who is promoting the product on HackForums. Thinking that the thread design and promotion and services offered was good, I bought the Ultimate package



However, I had some issues with the product and wanted to clarify it with someone on the support contacts, as "Full Support" was included and I expected it when purchasing the product.

Unfortunately, I was unable to get through to contact THREE OUT OF THREE support contacts on skype in 24 hours. After I managed to get +ve rep to post in marketplace and to contact the promoter (vape), the reply was deeply disturbing:




Thankfully vape had replied after 24 hours after I had posted publicly in the thread. However, as a promoter, it gives the impression that he himself has no faith in the product that he is selling, wanting absolutely nothing to do with it and wanting out ("please do not contact me"). This does not exactly inspire great confidence in the product.

I do not want to sales trash on the page itself, as it would be very mean, but I would really like to speak with the seller or developer of this product, and because I have significant issues with using the product, hope that I could get a refund as promised when I was making the purchase of the product itself. Even in this report itself, I am being intentionally vague as to my issues with the ebook, but I wish that I could speak to someone.

However, the lack of support significantly differs from what was promoted on the page, and this part itself is objective and factual.

I still have not received an acceptance of contact request or any word from the developers after 48 hours. I am very distressed right now.

Hope someone could help me or give a new user some advice.

OK, but the product owner has not replied to my contact request for what's coming to 72 hours. As much as I'm appreciative of your help to contact him, it is a fact that efforts to contact him not working. You cannot possibly blame me for being more and more anxious as time goes by.

Hey, I did not do such a thing! In fact, I saw that dude's negative rep on your profile BEFORE I submitted this DD to the database, and before you were notified via PM. The fact that he came to a conclusion that precludes even my knowledge is just... wow!

It's not very nice of you to accuse people without proof, much less a factually wrong accusation. Furthermore, the fact that someone else is able to provide incriminating information about yourself/your services that even I do not know of... does not reflect well upon yourself.

Thanks for your help in getting the original seller to respond. I also have the feeling from your replies on skype, and the above ss (the fact that 3 people have tried to contact the seller, and have come to you, and FAILED), that you yourself are a victim of his nonsense. Note that in the entire scam report, not once have I blamed you for anything, only the product. I have referred to you as a proxy seller, and not a "scammer". This is because I believe that you have not been acting maliciously in this DD.

However, as you are the person who represents the product on HF, there is no doubt that you will have to shoulder some of this, and/or have to take some form of responsibility. I believe that most would agree that is the right way.

I hope you could direct the original seller here so that he could see this and respond. I demand a refund as stated in the terms of the deal that I have purchased in your thread.

You evidence reasonable communication between you and the individual you're proxy selling for, but not between yourself and the OP. The dispute was made against you. Until now, you made no effort to address that dispute.

This is factually incorrect. You did not accept my contact request on Skype for 24 hours, until AFTER I had performed the following actions:

- Achieved getting a positive reputation so that I could post in the marketplace due to forum mechanics. (This is NOT easy as one cannot publicly ask for rep on this forum)
- Made a post in your thread, asking you to contact me

I did not contact you on skype yesterday - I contacted you the day before; YOU replied to my skype yesterday ONLY AFTER I posted a distress request in your thread.


Furthermore, I had taken the following pains before I was able to create this deal dispute in this thread:

1. Waited another 24 hours to give the product seller the chance to respond to YOUR attempt to contact him
2. A user who supported you/your product negative repped me by 3 for unknown reasons
3. Unable to post in the marketplace AGAIN
4. Had to post a distress thread in the introductions thread, where a kind member granted me back the +3 rep - cancelling the previous user's negative rep, putting me back at 1 rep to allow me to type the original writeup of the thread
5. Took significant pains to make the OP work due to forum mechanics restricting me significantly.

Look, I know you're in a tough spot because I can tell that you're fully aware that the services you are proxy selling for are extremely dubious only after the fact. However, that's the risk of proxy selling, and you know it. If shit hits the fan, you are responsible, and it applies just as well in this case.

You use your reputation and namesake to vouch for the products you are promoting. Therefore, when the products and/or services are not up to standard, it is inevitable that the aforementioned will be consequently affected as well.

Drop the product right now before they involve you in shit you don't wanna be involved in.
