MyAltCoins.net | Easily Track and Share your Investments and Profits with others!

I started investing a lot in AltCoins a couple of weeks ago and have been using Excel to track my earnings

Only issue with that was I'd have to manually update the current value of the coins I invest in and I could only do that when I'm on a PC.

I post screenshots of my investments on HF all the time and at least 20 people have contacted me over the past few weeks asking me for my Excel file

I had nothing to do at work this weekend so instead of watching Netflix all night I decided to make a site to do exactly what I want.

Yes I know there are tons of sites/app that do this, but they have a lot of crap I don't want or are too complicated or cluttered or I just don't like them.

Best part about it is, it's simple, very minimalistic and if I want to share my portfolio with someone I no longer have to take screenshots, I can share a link with them and they can see my earnings anytime in realtime.

Here's a link to my Portfolio: https://myaltcoins.net/view.php?u=1

If you want to check it out you can register for the site here

FAQ:
How do I enable sharing?
Sharing is disabled by default. You can enable it by going to your profile settings by clicking on settings in the top left corner.

How do I edit my investment?
Click on the date, it will take you to a page where you can make modifications.

How often does the site update it's data
We pull data directly from CoinMarketCap.com every minute. If the coin is on CoinMarketCap, then we have it.

Why is USD the only option? What if I used BTC to purchase my Altcoins?
This is a very controversial thing and different people have different opinions. The way I look at it is, if I used BTC to buy a certain coin. I would write down the value of the BTC at the time. Why? Because USD never changes, and BTC always fluctuate.

Example:
If you bought $600 worth of a coin with BTC when BTC was $1200 each and all of a sudden the BTC value drastically dropped and you need to cash out. Yes you have will end up with more bitcoins than you initially invested but your losing money as the value of BTC is much lower than the value was when you initially invested. You think you gained more, but in reality, you lost money.

If you have any questions or concerns let me know. :)

I've invested in BTC all my life how do I use USD?
Example:
If I bought 744 ETH for 23 BTC when 1 BTC was worth $1230 each.
To find my cost per coin I would have to do the following

(23*1230)/744 which is $38.0241935484 per ETH.

So on my site you would enter

Amount: 744
Cost Per Coin: 38.0241935484

Basically (totalcost/totalAmountofCoinsIBought)

If you are not sure how much BTC was worth at the time of an investment you made in the past, go to http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/ and look at the graph and go to the date you bought your coin.

Huge shoutout to Inverion! He volunteered to make the website design!
Noice, it'll help since I trade on two different exchanges and I often get disorganized lol.
I'm not receiving my activation e-mail.
I don't middleman any deals on- or off-site. Please don't message me requesting my past services and certainly don't fall for anybody who claims to be me.

It can take a few minutes as we are running mail through mailchannels.com

Let me know if you don't get it within 10 minutes. Also check junk/spam.

Edit: I see your account is activated now so you got the email 🤗

Works fine now. Also looks like a convenient and lightweight site that doesn't ramp up my CPU usage to hell. Good work 🙂

Very nice idea. I will be registering my self.

Not to take away from your site, but if you want to track your altcoin investments on your smartphone 'Blockfolio' is an amazing app.

This is a extremely nice site. Will be using for my trades, really appreciate you making this OP!
Where are all my friends
Registering right now, simplicity is definitely key! You HF guys have been killing it with these handmade altcoin sites recently.

Yes I know. As mentioned in my thread, I've tried various apps/sites before but never really liked them so I went out and made my own solution to my liking.
Has exactly all the information I need without all the extra gunk. :)
Also keep in mind, running an app takes up space on your phone and will kill more battery than having a tab in your phones browser open all the time. :)

Sites are easier to use than apps tbh, and why not just throw something from themeforest on top of it to make it look nice?
:p

I'll be signing up here in a few hours. Love that it's in USD as well.
Always private message me before any deals to verify it's me.
Looks good :) I think your growth calculations are out (+102% instead of 2%)

For people using BTC for purchasing (like me), if you invest like 1.00btc, just write 100$, 1.59btc = 159$ etc, the results are exactly the same apart from the "$" sign.

Otherwise that's a great share, blockfolio is too bloated for my liking.

If you could add a tab with something like http://redditbot.com/tools/profit.php in the future, it will be even greater. ✌

Edit: forgot what i said, i misunderstood, the site use the $ value for the coin value so it won't work.

I've just been working on coding the site for the past 2 days coding all the functions and logic
I'd like to keep as the portfolio page and view page as minimal as possible.

I'll look into having a better home/landing page made though so people get a better idea of what the site is about just by visiting it.

The site is currently running on shared hosting, and they limit the amount of resources I could use so I can't run large amounts of SQL queries at a time. I'll be moving it over to it's own VPS later this week so I can go full throttle.

After that I'll be adding the following currencies so more international people can use it.

"AUD", "BRL", "CAD", "CHF", "CNY", "EUR", "GBP", "HKD", "IDR", "INR", "JPY", "KRW", "MXN", "RUB"

CoinMarketCap only offers those currencies so that is what I'm limited to.

I had to teach someone earlier today how to use USD as they have tracked earnings in pure BTC all their life.

Example:
If I bought 744 ETH for 23 BTC when 1 BTC was worth $1230 each.
To find my cost per coin I would have to do the following

(23*1230)/744 which is $38.0241935484 per ETH.

In regards to http://redditbot.com/tools/profit.php why do I need to link that, that's literally what my site does, just better.
Wow very nice website my friend!
Im gonna use this from now on.

Nice to see number like this:
STRAT 1950 $738 $1337.99835 $599.99835 181.3%
