In regards to http://redditbot.com/tools/profit.php why do I need to link that, that's literally what my site does, just better.
Yes but when you only trade with BTC and doesn't sell them, it's not really usefull.

Ye i spoke too fast anyway, now that i looked at your site i saw that you are getting the $ value of the coin itself, so the percent is wrong and my tips too.

A quick tab that show a possible profit/losses as a fixed value without adding a coin nor a trade to the list.

All right. I'll look into it. That's exactly what http://redditbot.com/tools/profit.php does.
I suppose I could make something like that, but it would be in javascript so there would be no need to reload the page. It would be kinda like Preev, all on the same page, instantly. Thanks for the suggestion

Inverion has offered to make a design for the website. So we'll look pretty soon. 😎

Yeah definitely. I was planning on adding a toggle between USD and BTC.

So there could be two use cases.

FIAT Usecase:
I invested $100.
Each Asset was worth: $0.01
Each Asset is now worth: $0.03
I now have $300
$200 Profit

BTC UseCase:
I invested 1 BTC
Each Asset was worth: 0.0003 BTC
Each Asset is now worth: 0.01 BTC
I now have 33.3333333333 BTC
32.3333333333 BTC Profit
Cryptic has been talking about making this for quite some time.
I've kept telling him to do it.
I'm glad he finally finished it!

I will use this if I get into the Alt coins.
I only deal onsite fam

I think that you should alter the system to base it off of transactions. Currently, you need to delete an investment whenever you sell and you lose those records.
I don't middleman any deals on- or off-site. Please don't message me requesting my past services and certainly don't fall for anybody who claims to be me.
I've been using - https://cryptofolio.info/ but so many coins aren't on it. Hopefully it is different on your site.

Free the political prisoner Robert Shmurda.

Would it be possible to automatically fetch data from Poloniex/Bittrex API? That would be perfect.
Awesome man just signed up. Used to have a notepad with my earnings :') Calculating it every day by hand.

Would you mind adding the ability to have multiple currencies? I am Australian for example, so where you have "Profit" maybe you could have "Profit - USD" then next to it "Profit - AUD" or whatever your member wants to use?

Think about it ;)
All in on Ethereum

I was thinking about that last night. But the issue with that is.

Lets say someone buys 100 ETH at $35 a coin.

Then they decide to sell 20 of them when it's $27.

So I can't use the same dataset for both the "live" portfolio that tracks your earnings in real time, and the "history", things would get messy.

If people want to record their profits when they sell, I could make a new table in the database for people to store transcations and let people add records there.

They'd have to fill out what they bought it for and what they sold it for.

If you guys want a "ledger" of the coins you sold to track your profits, then I am happy to implement it.

Maybe in the future. But not anytime soon.

Right now I just use CoinMarketCap as it's the "go-to" place to monitor prices of coins as it aggregates it from tons of sources and then averages it out.

Yeah, was thinking of something like a ledger. Or how about enabling us to make negative investments (i.e. -50 ETH @ $35)?

Negative investments?

I don't understand 😧
What would they be used for?

Ledger has been added to the to-do list. :) Should be added sometime this week.

Never mind me, it wouldn't work with whatever you currently have in place.

This looks nice.
Glad I could help you in the PHP section.

Let me know if you need any assistance.
I remember seeing you post this privately inside the Brotherhood forum. Extremely well-thought. I am definitely going to use this for my investments.
