If you're a scout sniper, wouldn't that make it your MOS and not your rank? Rank would actually be Private or something along those lines.

Marines MOS would be Occfld, for most of us.
my MOS is 0317, but most people don't know what it means and go by Scount Sniper.
but we do have ranks, you have to be atleast a Lance corporal to even be selected to go through training.

AFSC is for the Air Force and MOS is for Army and Marines and Navy I believe. But I was just curious what rank you were as far as E1-E9.

I've met an US Army soldier on omegle one day and it was awesome to talk with him. Since Switzerland is neutral and doesn't stick it's nose in other countries :DD I've never talked to a real soldier till then :) Whats your statement on Warmovies like American Sniper etc? & what kind of Sniper are you using if I may ask

Yes, and yes.

I did 2 deployments
and then 1 5-month deploy where I was injuried from my humvee hitting an IED.
