Ah, I knew this would crop up. So, let's just say the original owner of this scraper sold 150 copies for $2 each, that's $300, he then sells the project for another $50 which makes it $350 (Just because the original cost is a petty amount does not excuse piss poor business etiquette). The second owner updates it a little, sells more lifetime licenses and so on and so forth, now its got to the stage where the final owner has the rights to the project, nobody wants to buy it thus he releases it for free to gain some reputation. I can only assume all support for it will now cease to exist.
So not only is it available to everybody for free, if it breaks you're fucked unless you know how to fix it, even worse the sources list is now available and will soon be saturated. Yes I could go and buy another proxy scraper which I will most likely have to do now.
I guess according to you its ok for people to sell lifetime licenses, cash in while the goings good then when sales dry up they can forget about this 'updates, support, lifetime license' they SOLD and release it for free/abandon the project simply because nobody is buying it.
Good logic, children should not be doing business.
