So lets get started here.

It started for me about 6-8 months ago. Had some random Vietnamese chick contact me bitching I never did the job I agreed to do for her. (What the fuck?)

Turns out she posted in the Hacking requests section and got PMed a Skype address. live:cancelling
who claimed to be me.

Had my old avatar, and not my current statuses. obviously a fake for those who speak to me regularily on IM. However a new user assumed this was infact the Legit ME, and proceeded to send the scammer over $200 USD in AGC codes.

It was only when I was contacted by the user directly complaining I did not fulfill my end of the bargain did I get tipped off to this scam. I explained to the user directly, I never accept AGC as payment (no reason to) but more so was able to get quite a bit of information from them including many of the scammers details.

The one repetitive phrase/name etc that will become very clear is "Mclovin"

As you will clearly see this user has a HISTORY

Well, dude finally fucked up and gave away the last piece of information I required to connect the dots, while trying to scam another member, they fucked up on their skype, revealing who they truly are.

I am drawing from THIS thread for those interested.

Although, yes they have created, yet another new Skype, they follow the same pattern and even the same fucking name (how stupid can you honestly be?). It took nearly 6 months but I have finally pin pointed my and others imposter.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS USER WHATSOEVER.
DO NOT SEND A DIME TO THEM EVEN IF THEY SAY THEIR GRANDMOTHER IS DYING AND THAT IS THE ONLY THING TO SAVE THEM.

Can we get those PayPal accounts closed too? What sort of info does PayPal ask for when reporting stuff?

From what I gathered they were unverified, likely throw away accounts he transfered to his primary holding account. At least that is what I would do if I were a scammer. Paypal is useless, I was able to atleast help some users get their money back through all of this, including the Vietnamese chick and amazon. But lets be real, chances are dudes got like 10-15 accounts and he will just continue on, but now that I have found the Uber and likely his primary account, maybe this will slow a bit....

Been attempted, but the largest issue is they take the deals off site.

PMing someone on HF and having them add a Skype ID that is not uniform is not exactly a policy violation, it is one of the few loop holes the scammers use to rip people off.

Its fucking pathetic, and if I ever come in to physical contact with the mother fucker who imposes as me, Im gonna need a shovel as well.... Fucking HATE people running my alias through the mud for no reason. I deal with enough bull shit as it already stands without others adding to my pile.😑
