Cleaning up CE Section with ability to sort?

What am I suggesting? A tab almost like a on/off switch that hides threads from users (only ub3rs ofc in CE) that have deal disputes being the defendant, if it is turned on. Thus, ub3rs who have scam reports, will not pop up in the threads list!

I think a lot of users (or some) might get scammed in the CE due to seeing a good deal and maybe not looking into that user, which I get is entirely their responsibility.

With that being said, if someone had a scam report from multiple rep pages ago, it was a l33t so did not show as neg, or maybe even a regular user so no rep shown at all, it can easily be overlooked.

Omni does have the "You may be scammed" thread, and though that is accurate, this would defo save some members, especially those who just check rep, and might not see a scam report from a un-upgraded member. And almost clean up the CE section!

Some would still be scammed...it cannot be stopped, but it would defo stop some! Though it is your responsibility, this would be a cool add from Omni to save some people some money, regardless of Staff having no action in DD's, we all know they do not like watching it happen.

You can of course have it turned off, as some members may like to expand the search! You can of course then do research and see why they have a DD.

Maybe to hard to integrate? I am a trader on LBTC (My Account There) and I hate seeing anyone being scammed!

Worth a shot? :)
Too much work for something you can check yourself.

Browse the CE section -> Find someone to buy from -> Check their trust scan. This does the exact same thing as you are suggesting.

Not everyone can just run a trust scan though. Just an idea! Or for those trying to get a asap deal, it could be overlooked as it has before I am sure! I totally get where you are coming from. For members like us, easy, but it could even save some members like us, that might forget that trust scan, this is a instant check of every user on there.

Pretty sure that's what the 3P1C upgrade is for (if not UB3R).
It's pretty cheap too.

I think the way it is currently setup is fine. I myself purchased the 3PIC user group just for the trust scan feature to avoid being scammed and I feel that is pretty much a better more efficient version of your suggestion.

Most DD don't even make it to the database anyways though. Would give a false sense of trust.

There's a reason for that. Buy ep1c and get access to it.
I can guarentee you right now that this will never get implemented. If people are too lazy or ignorant to check a merchants trust scan or reputation or looking them up with a simple search, what makes you think they will care about a feature like the one you suggest?

It's like Omniscient says: "You can't force people not to be stupid".
The tools are there and even if a normal user does not have access to the trust scan feature, they can still find out what they need to know with one simple search.

True true. Sounded good in my head though! :)
Thanks for opinions brothers.
