Have you ever wanted to play Skyblock on a server that dosn't just make the gamemode "another server" on their network, meaning lot's of lag and shitty, non-dedicated staff?
Well now you can! We have a dedicated staff team with a pure focus on making your experience as a player a good one.
We are a gowing server, meaning we are looking for a lot of players looking for the same thing we are. A good, kind, community. It sucks that to us as server owners that is a lot to ask for, but it is hard to get a good and mature community base that all enjoy the same thing. Minecraft Skyblock.

But alnoise, why wouldn't I join a bigger network already full of players?
Well that's actually a good question! Why chose a smaller server over the other hundreds of bigger servers that offer (almost) the same thing we are? Well, here's the simple answer. Bigger servers are usually only focused on the games that players play the most, which in most cases,
is not Skyblock. This means lag, undedicated staff, and a toxic player base to the player. Viride Skyblock is here to try to fix that problem. We have a dedicated host which means no lag, an amazing anti-DDoS system, and last but not least, VERY dedicated staff for making your experience as the player the best as possible.

WE WANT TO MAKE THIS SERVER FUN FOR EVERYBODY!
As you read this, we are setting up a server forum just so players like you can give us feedback on the server to make it better for not only yours but everyones experience. We have (and are looking for more) amazing plugin developers that are dedicated to making the server better and better. Even when the forum is not up, we have very active staff members always looking to help players with problems or for suggestions on how to make the server even better than it is. We are very confident that you will enjoy your time on the server so I don't feel the need to sell it to you all that much. This thread is simply to tell you what we're all about as a Minecraft Skyblock server.
Okay, sounds awesome, right?
Well.. We need one thing from you guys, and that is you. Right now, we are as small as that pebble you kept kicking while you were walking down your street yesterday. While you can play Skyblock with practly, well, one player.. We want a community. But not just a community. We want THE community. What the fuck does that mean? We want the community you can look at and say "Wow, I wish the Minecraft community was actually like that". We're not desperate for players, so to anyone that wants to join the server just to troll and ruin other peoples experience, FUCK OFF. Sorry if that came off a bit rude, but seriously, if you are not serious about helping us as a small server grow then just don't bother joining. We would rather have no players than a toxic sterotipical Minecraft community. That being said, if you join this server and we see you being toxic we will ban the shit out of you faster than you can say "rekt". That also being said, we're experienced in moderating and maintainging a Minecraft server. All of our owners have owned servers in the past and know what and what not to do to keep the server running. WITHOUT the toxicity.
Skyblock is booooring... Why would you only base your server around Skyblock?

And comment, I guess. But the reason that we are basing our server around Skyblock is because it dosn't require you to rely on other players. You could have 1 player on the server (being you) and still be able to enjoy some good old Skyblock. Though, it would be more fun if we could get some more people on so you could talk to the community while you are waiting for your mobs to spawn or your cactus to grow just one more block. Right now in fact I am waiting for all my pumpkins to grow as I am typing this.
If you don't happen to enjoy Skyblock, just don't join the server, simple as that :)

Ok, at this point i'm just rambling, but here is some more info on the server.
We are in fact looking for staff, but that being said we are taking this server very seriously. If you want to apply you must do it in a professional manner. This means you wont be getting a book and quill and having us just say there you go. We will make sure that you do fit the criteria for staff before we accept you. We will look for past bans and the reasons that you were banned. Meaning if you have griefed or any of that before, don't even bother trying to apply. Go to the last page of minecraft-servers.org or some shit.
Also, we won't accept you on the spot. We will take a couple days to review your back round and will get other staff to make sure that you are mature and professional enough for the position. If you're going to apply make sure you are on the server for a couple days and are concidered a "regular" or we will just throw your little book and quill into the void without even looking at it.

We seriously thank you for giving us a chance! In fact it's all we can ask for from you is to just add us to your server list and give us a go. If you don't like the way we do things we completely understand and we wish you luck in your perfect server hunt :) The server ip will be at the bottom of this thread, probably right below this little block of rambling text. But seriously, thank you for giving us a chance and I hope that you will enjoy the community as much as we are trying to make it!

The ranks on the server are SUPER cheap,
like honestly I don't even know how we are going to make money from them. They are just there if in any way you want to help pay for the server (and yes, all donations DO go to keeping the server up since the plan we chose is expensive plan to reduce lag.)
