I had to double check this wasn't in the MSM section. Not sure about number 5? I know a few good ideas for like mining stats or crypto portfolios for image rotation but ip grabber?

Like what if I make a thread, close it let it die with my IP resolving signature then don't enable my new sig in all my posts - then I can link anyone that thread and grab their IP.

It's always been possible to create a PHP script that displays a valid image in gif/png format while also grabbing an IP, and there'd be absolutely no way to tell. Anyone could have edited a post from years ago and embedded said "image" and link off to the post/thread to grab an IP. This really doesn't change much. 🤝

i have seen the stats logger, and always knew you could stick an ip logger in, but think when someone gets called out for doing it, the post/thread will more than likly be closed.

These have always been around.
I can make www.website.com/images/signatures/sdfkjasdfkj.png and really have it grap the IP before serving the png.

Hell, I can just go into the access logs and see it, too.

Omg images scripts are allowed now, years ago I made a website which provided Meme signatures that showed of fake info like the users location and their Ip and such saying they had been doxed this is now allowed?

It also means you can have dynamic images, such as ones that display view counters, stats/info grabbed and dynamic inserted and kept updated in real time. This is awesome I used to do this stuff all the time but Omni said my old project wasn't allowed guess I better look at my old project files and start it back up :)
