Yes but how can someone distinguish from an IP grabber which account it belongs to? Placing an IP grabber in a random thread will only generate dozens or possibly hundreds of IPs.

There is a moronic belief that if someone has your IP you're at a high risk. It's just not true. I'm here 10 years and I don't hide my IP. If it's not a problem for me, it certainly won't be a problem for members.
