Bittrex doesn't support BCC. Go to Kraken: https://www.bitcoincash.org/

So I've got a decent amount of Bitcoin spread across about 5 different platforms (Polo, Bittrex, Blockchain etc). If I want to consolidate them for Aug 1, how would I go about doing so?

So far, I've downloaded and synced a Bitcoin Core client, but obviously that wouldn't support Bitcoin Cash right?

Could you direct me as to how to backup so I'll have both versions of Bitcoin? :)

You can move all your funds to say, Electrum. Save the private keys. After Aug move import your private keys to whatever client you want to that supports whatever chain you want to be on.

Depends on where you store your BTC. Make sure you have your private keys so you can import them to whatever chain.

I provided enough sources for you to read.
So I have all my btc in electrum. After Aug 1st I can download electrum cash (or whenever they come out with it), import my keys, and I'll have the bcc in there while also having btc in my normal electrum?

Correct. BCC may become useless to trade, it might not. Everything is up in air with what will officially happen. Trading legacy coins can become risky.

Safest option is just having fiat or waiting everything out for the clear winner, if there is one.
Am I "safe" if I keep my BTC in Blockchain?

I haven't seen any news about blockchain supporting anything yet. Make sure you control your private keys. This question was already asked.
When August 1st hits, do I need to do anything with Electrum to use the UASF protocol?
Kill Joy, you can add this as additional website.

Also, since BCC will be considered a new coin, does that mean payment walls such as Bitpay (which seems to be supporting UASF at this time) will not accept BCC?

Check here for UASF nodes for electrum: https://uasf.saltylemon.org/electrum

Bitpay is not supporting BCC.

Added. Thank you.
Bittrex is supporting BCC

Well with the split, the value before should equal the value after anyway, but with more activity on one. I'm going to take a stab and say that they'll both converge to a price, but in total it'll be more than the value of what one BTC is on the current blockchain.

I'll have a look into how to do that, thanks heaps for the reply mate! :)
So will Poloniex credit their users who have BTC with BCC like they did with Ethereum Classic?\

I tried to understand their blog post, but it was strangely worded;

Value of BCC will be significantly less than the value of BTC.

They are not committing to any chain. They are waiting for a clear winner.

Well any exchange that doesn't commit is essentially double-dipping, no?

I'm using Electrum now, seems easy enough to use. After I export my private keys into storage, will Electrum be supporting both? So if I re-import after the fork will I see both BTC and BCC in my wallets or?

Sorry, I'm slightly confused about the logitistics of all of this :(
