I am trying to flash a rom on my unrooted galaxy s7 sprint phone. No clue what im doing just following youtube but main question is.

Is it possible to flash a rom without root?
And if i fuck it up can anyone provide me with a youtube video on how to flash back so I dont have to go to sprint and have them do it. And will this trip knox?

You will need to obtain root before flashing a ROM to your S7. The only thing you could do without root is updating the firmware. I'd suggest looking up videos on how to root the sprint galaxy s7, but do be careful, do your research & follow the directions step by step if you attempt it because you don't want to brick your device.

damnit, I cant seem to root my s7 cause i updated my firmware lately and I have no clue what im doing with it. Probably just gonna get a new phone

I love my s7 edge, but I'm going to get a One Plus 5 soon. You should look at the Galaxy s8, it's a lot nicer than the 7. Also before you buy a phone, hit me up and I'll look into root methods for you.
