Personally never been a fan of anything higher than 614.
RuneCrest is a 317 server using a source called Vidyascape. As requested by the creator of the source, we will be removing the quest Dragon Slayer. The source has clean, organized code and very few bugs.
We are going to be adding a lot of content and we are going to make it so we have our own identity.

Have you ever played a RSPS...?

Not everybody wants to sit there and grind for hundreds and hundreds of hours. RSPS also have some unique features that Runescape doesn't have and will never have.

We are also not trying to be "OSRS". As of now, there is no data from OSRS being loaded. Perhaps we will add it down the road, but I see no reason to try to duplicate the game itself.

Would you guys consider adding custom shops where you have your own shop to sell items? Also possibly a jukebox you add your own music to play in game less resources on your cpu I think !

I said player owned shops was an idea that we may add down the road. There will have to be some form of system so players do not have to sit in a marketplace for hours to sell a single item.
It may be some form of trading post, GE, or player own shops. Whatever it is, it will take some for the team to write it from scratch or rewrite it, and for me to ensure it is secure; dupes can happen extremely easily with this feature.

As far as your jukebox idea goes, I've thought about somehow implementing a radio into the server in the past. I don't think it's worth the time and users will probably not use the feature. They rather use their spotify, youtube, or apple account(s) to listen to music. TBH, I am not even sure how much that would effect a user's CPU if it was added. Neat idea, but we will not be doing that.

I've personally known manny for quite a few years. We've hosted servers in the past as well as admin for a few as well. He's a good choice for this job and I'll likely be joining the server
