Last year, someone in the school installed keyloggers on computers and hacked some students accounts. Yesterday he started blackmailing everyone with their private conversations. He installed offline keyloagers so I can't track him back. I thought about logging in with a fake in one of the hacked computers but It will take days for him to log in to that account so I can try to identify him.
but, I had some leads leading me to a guy. All I have about him is his facebook account link and some rumors that he's a script kiddie.
I never thought about learning how to dox because I'm interested about networking and programming.
So, anyone can help? Any information you can get online will be a great help to stop this fucking nonsense.

Well facebook is very good place to start from
Try searching his name on google, his username as well
Check if his username is taken on different social media accounts and verify if the profiles actually belong to that guy.
Try to guess his email connected to his facebook by a method i talked about here

If you can get your hands on the stub he used as a keylogger, upload it to virustotal if you don't know how to work with malware, it might give you additional information
You can do a lot from facebook as a starting place, you have much more methods

I actually thought about that.
That's what I've been doing for the last couple of hours.
No results.

How about if you pay an attorney 20 bucks a month you can file John Doe civil suit, get a subpoena serve it to facebook, and their ISP and you'll know who they exactly are. If they're that stupid chances are they don't use a VPN. If it's someone at the school physically team up with some people who can actively watch those computers.

I thought about that, but It will take time to build a file and present it to the law. Screenshots and nude pictures will flood the school the second John doe feels there's something wrong happening.

If they're smart they won't release anything. It would only get him in more trouble, why would he do that if he thinks the school and LE are onto him?
PM me the information you have and I will see what I can find for you.
Its a school so Im assuming private conversations would be talking bad abt teachers, students etc.You shouldnt bother much about this.Stay away from doing anything illegal. In a bid to trap him, you will end up with problems.
even if you get something against him, which is obtained illegally, court wont accept that
Blackmailing is serious offence. never give in to a blackmailer. If you want to take it seriously, then go to cops .

Agreed, the school's property is considered the government's property. For example, a school district is considered a part of the local government. He's going to get his ass kicked when the police show up at his door for computer trespassing, unauthorized use of a computer, computer tampering and criminal possession of forgery devices. Best part yet, he's blackmailing others so he's making crimes of extortion which is blackmailing, bribery, or ransom really all the same to a felony crime. According to source and under federal and state laws, extortion carries up to a 20-year prison sentence. Your best option is to just report it to the district. Good luck, I don't think he would get away. 🎉
