I'd like to see someone breach a system that my company manages.

Protip: None of the skiddies here on HF would be able to.

I didn't call you specifically a little shit. You're the one that applied it to yourself.

That is a terrible example, even if accurate lol a broken clock being right for 2 mins out of 24 hours is moot. 🤣

When you are 30, you do know better, because your brain is fully developed.

You really can't say that a 13 year old should know any better 😝 You're relying too much on his or hers parents then.
Not all parents know how to handle their kids when it comes to the internet and they can't do much to stop them either.

Correct, at that age it is the parents responsibility to ensure safe internet use if their children are to be online.

Yes, also correct, many parents don't know how to deal with technology and their children. But again as noted before.
You can't fix stupid, and common sense is not so common anymore.

Still does not change the facts, no one at any age should be posting information up they dont want recorded.

It is unfortunate however, that the rest loose the ability because of these type of situations.

Eh, my kid is allowed internet access to a degree, however he is pretty much limited to netflix and a restricted content version of youtube.

No way he is being allowed on social media or internet forums yet.
Age I dont find is a central factor, but maturity is more important.
Perhaps that is just my view though.

That's actually what I meant with "very little". Maybe additionally a search engine for kids and that's it.

Not a fan of this but it is what it is.
I can see why this has been done however.

It's awesome, right? People like iHydra are writing mini essays to you in the hopes of helping you come up with an even better solution. Seems like you have a pretty large group of people here that want the best for your forum just like you do.

As the old adage goes, the man who believes he knows everything learns nothing. Thanks for keeping this thread open for discussion.
Maybe people will learn not to post personal information on a public forum :^)
Editing shit out hurts the site so this is better for the site, abusers clearly don't give a shit about the rules so there isn't much that can be done there.
Give me 10 bytes for a rep.
Hm - Great feature but sucks when you have a goal thread and are unable to update it after a month. other ways great addition to HF
You gotta do what you gotta do. We'll adapt.

I think this here pretty much sums it all up. Arguably the best reply post in this thread. lol
Well this is actually tough for some sellers who update important matters to thread , anyways if we need to update thread can we request to Mods via report button at least ? 90 days pretty long time sadly .

No the solution which has been offered is close the sales thread and open a new one. 🤫
This is absolutely amazing.

In certain situations where someone may have thrown in personal data, such as threads about paypal giveaways - could I request those to be deleted on behalf of other users?

Nothing like skype or whatever, that's their own fault.
