Not really sure what you hope to accomplish with this thread. He has already spread the word to only deal with him on-site. Blaming someone for their accounts getting hacked and people falling for the scammer isn't really a rabbit hole I want to go down.
Also, for the record, I have him added on Discord. The account mass messaged people looking to exchange, anyone that had spoke to him prior to that should've been able to suss out something wasn't right.

I was scammed by his skype account before he even created the thread. He owned the skype when we dealt a few days prior. Nothing changed. He contacted me out the blue the first time, we did an exchange, he did it the second time, I got scammed. I don't know whether you're friends with him or are trying to be nice to me and give me a heads up but I feel something isn't right here with all his supposed compromisation. By that logic, if I were to do a $1000 deal- I could turn around an hour, or a day later and say "Oh my account was compromised. That wasn't me." I believe that is the issue OP is highlighting. I forget where it was but there was also a discussion on who was accountable when a person is "hacked" and their account is used to scam users. The majority "voted", not really a vote but the gist of what the thread consensus was, that the person who was hacked was accountable. It was their fault their account was not secure. It was their fault that people lost money due to their accounts being compromised. ![]() (Nov 7, 2017 02:55 PM)Bombaclut Wrote: Did you not read the thread whatsoever? You shouldn't ever deal off-site either, Skype is one of the easiest ways to get scammed. If his Hack Forums account is compromised then I'm fine with throwing the proverbial book at him, however, I don't believe any trust should be put into any accounts that aren't 2fa secured. Also no, I'm not friends with him. We've done one exchange in the past, that is all. It might have come off as if I was saying there should be zero accountability. That isn't true. I meant that monetary amounts shouldn't be exchanged off-site.
The point I was trying to align here was that he should be held accountable for all the scams that took place. I don't think it's fair that he's potentially scamming people and then has some bullshit excuse of his contacts being compromised. He can't prove that. I understand the discord/skype may have sent out mass messages but how do you not know that was part of his scheme? It's not coincidence that he posted the thread 15 minute after he scammed me.

I was referring to this: "Edit: HUSKYY has been confirmed a scammer. Check this response. https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?ti...id56189502" When I click that link it says the specified post does not exist. Which I assumed to be him deleting something where he admitted he was a fraud. Could be wrong though. Regardless, it's his job to secure his accounts at the end of the day. Here is some food for thought though. Post of him needing an exchange for PP: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?ti...id56192442 Post of him saying he lost a PP and everything connected: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?ti...id56192470 That doesn't necessarily mean that he lost THAT PP account; although, I find it hard to believe that he has two fully verified accounts. Were you scammed by him? Check the email that you sent money to or whatever where he claims he lost the PP account. If that matches with the one he is finding an exchange for, GG. Probably gonna return in a few months and try to rebuild. |
