Reminds me a lot of iHydra's "Flat Darkness." I'm just going to continue keeping this plugin enabled. I truly wish you two would work together to finalize that into Hack Forums' official theme; it's so simple, yet it's perfected every aspect that you expect when imagining a theme as such.

If you bothered to read the last quote, I said it was simply annoying how most complained because every little thing wasnt to their liking. Not everyone likes this theme, not many people cared for modern blue. Omni should do what pleases him since its his site in the end.

Quote:90+% of users LOVED that modern blue theme. At first it was very hated. If you give this theme a chance you may like it just as much. Possibly more. Quote:I don't know why you are so against bringing it back. Because I stared at that theme for years. Ever think maybe I'm bored with it and feel my website needs a new look? Quote: like it, it’s also relaxing to my eyes. My favorite by far. That's one of my goals is to have the theme easy on the eyes. I won't really know for 2-3 days imho. It takes hours of regular use to really love or hate a theme properly. You shouldn't judge a site design within 2 minutes. No matter what it's not THAT BAD...it's just fine. Quote:It is clear that no one has liked the themes Omni has come up with thus far I designed every HF theme members liked. It's odd to get so much love for all my older designs but anything new is disliked almost immediately. Quote:do you plan to move the 'post_head' (date, timestamp, post numer) to the top of each post rather than under the userbit? Tried messing around with that and it really messed up the postbit. I'll have to deal with it in my dev environment one day but for now it's going to stay where it is. Something else for everyone to get used to.

I really like this new theme, I have to be honest I felt that for whatever reason my threads in virtual games items had severely dropped in traffic like particular sections on the old theme were struggling because the sections were so cramped and it took a good 5-10 seconds for me to learn where the section even was now.(I could also see the views my stickys were getting easily aswell to and they seemed low).
I really really like this new theme, I like the tabs a ton their just so "HF" if that makes any sense, you barely see any other forums out there that are so vast in userbase and the tabs just make browsing so friendly, its so easy to locate things under them I really appreciate you taking the time to listen to feedback and return the tabs back. I would love to see something added where if you visit a particular section X amount of times or whatever it puts that section name into a new color(just to add a splash of color and making locating ur highly visited sections even easier when browsing). Mabey like if u visit a section 10+ times it changes to a light blue or something, this is just something I came up on the spot but it would add just a little splash of color without altering the theme itself. Overall though its excellent and I applaud ur efforts and am glad you listen to feedback, Great job.

That's a horrible argument, and I have yet to see why people use the excuse that "it's his forum and he should implement everything he likes." There's a userbase that is here to provide options and advice for him, but if he doesn't take it, what's the point of requesting feedback? I understand not all opinions are logical, but ones that are, there's no excuse. I understand that Omniscient should be satisfied with HIS website, but he should foremost place his users before himself, it's a very selfless act and shows immense respect to the community. Instead of doing everything to his ideal, why not combine our word and his? Quote:Please add some purple colors to this theme here and there so that we (old users) don't have to miss the good old purple theme HF much Omni. <3 Sorry, but no.
Too much change happening constantly...
You should've seriously done all of this in a development environment, and maybe had some of your closer / more valuable members give input on changes if you really wanted feedback. This is just becoming daunting everyday to not know what the fuck is up and down on HF. (Nov 16, 2017 07:10 PM)Omniscient Wrote: I think I'm going to call this theme "deVoid" since it has no color.
