There is no new episode, it is the Redial OVA episode that is being referenced here, it is just being bundled with the series for physical release.

You guys are disappointing me. Read the article on Crunchyroll that I provided, explains it there. The OVA has been released for a while, it's just that they are including it in the physical release now. Nothing special.

Tbh the ending was a masterpiece (non redial) IMO. Even though it wasnt a happy ending it felt right and we knew it would have to happen regardless, the way the made the ending with all those emotions mixed in it made it one of the most memorable endings I've ever seen, watched the anime well over 5 years ago and still remember it crystal clear.

Redial just helped ease the pain in our heart :)
