Unconfirmed BTC transactions

So long story short, I have 4 unconfirmed transactions, I started all of these on freaking Wednesday and not a single one of them has a confirmation on them still.
I paid the standard fees, and even tried using accelerators. Nothing is helping.

Is there any way to claim back the unconfirmed transactions to resend with a high fee to help it get mined faster?
I am getting conflicting reports on this.

I know the BTC cant be reversed, but is there a way to tack on additional fees to these transactions to help them clear faster?

I read this in regards to the same problem I am having:
Quote:Cancelling unconfirmed transactions is easy. Just submit a higher fee double-spend transaction. For example: if you send a 0-fee transaction it could take a day before 1 block mines it. Then you send another transaction with the same inputs that just sends the money back to yourself. On this transaction you put a higher fee. This becomes more likely to be mined and will get included in the blockchain - invalidating the slower-to-confirm original.

But I am not exactly clear what that means. If I send the same inputs, does that mean I would have to send the same amount of $ as the original transaction and just add more fees, or what is the case here?

These are the transactions in question:

https://blockchain.info/tx/778182bbeb8aa...873ee8d659

Any advice would be very helpful.
I got like 6 unconfirmed still from Dec 6th lol

Same here.
Started on December 6 and still not even one confirmed.

This is why I hate using bitcoin now. I only used it to buy onions but cba with the confirmation times..

Lol, I am still waiting on a payment from Monday, has yet to be confirmed.
If the transaction fails to confirm it will cancel in 72 hours and return the BTC to the original sending address.

You need to use much higher fees. I've never had a transaction take longer than 30 minutes using the high fees option in Blockchain and tacking on a few more satoshis.
Send a 2.2k$ payment two days ago. 6$ fees + accelerated several times
No luck as well...

OP, this is simply impossible. Your transaction has already been signed and published to the blockchain network -- it is now immutable (i.e. you can't tac on extra fees anymore).

A word of advice: If you were sending money from Coinbase -- you shouldn't be using that website. It's too centralized and you never have actual control over your private keys. Transactions through Coinbase are super congested right now, you should always be sending and receiving in a private local wallet.

For reference, confirmation time for the rest of us: https://blockchain.info/charts/avg-confi...geString=7
(avg. 2 hours per confirmation.)

Hope this is helpful.

Actually you can resubmit a transaction in theory. Good child pays for parent.

Well again my central wonder is with this statement I found within the blockchain forums/faq

If I can somehow double spend the exact same amount and just apply more fees to the transaction, this apparently makes the original fee moot. Just wondering if anyone knows if this is successful or not?

Well yes, that's possible if you can sign the same inputs with your private key. If you're using this Coinbase this is impossible.

What wallet are you using?

BlockChain
By the way, I found these services which look promising:
https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator
https://pushtx.btc.com

Supposedly they can accelerate your transaction by having mining pools prioritize your block.
I found a very helpful post on StackOverflow about this, you should read it: https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/a/54457

Good luck!
