To add to this, make sure you have all your coins off exchanges.

If you do have coins on exchanges make sure 2fa is enabled at least.

I recommend holding your coins in an offline wallet or invest in a leger or trezor.

I always store offline onto my ledger and ledger is locked up in floor safe.
