I personally think some don't do it because it's a forum where people are "wanna be hackers" and once they find out any "personal info" about you they try using it against you.

I am actually not even sure why people tend to set/leave their birth date at January 1st. I got like 20+ birthday messages on skype this morning.
Glad it's fixed here though.
