Hey guys,
I've been around the crypto scene on HF since basically the beginning.
Today marks the day I officially made over a million dollars.
If you've been here since the beginning, you would remember that Grizzlies and I had a thing going, a race to see who would be the first to make a million dollars. Well, he beat me months ago haha.
Before the first MASSIVE crash happened in the summer, I had made around 80 BTC (you can check the thread links I provided at the end of this post to see how that happened) . At the time, the 80 BTC was worth probably ~ 200K.
When I had the 80 BTC I decided the smartest thing to do would be to diversify it into ~ 10-20 altcoins. I was a newbie back then, just a guy with a ton of BTC, didn't even know how to set stop losses, or TA or anything. Diversifying it into 10-20 alts with no knowledge was my first biggest mistake.
I took that 80 BTC and bought a ton of alt coins, without doing any research or anything, just putting 3-5 btc into every coin on Bittrex.
Then came the first massive crash and my portfolio started crumbling sats wise.
I decided I would just wait until it goes back up again, weeks went by, my portfolio value started diminishing from 80 BTC to 70....60....50....30.... I just kept telling myself I would wait because it would go up eventually.
A thought came to me multiple times but I never had the guts to do it. The idea was to sell everything at a loss and start fresh with a lump of BTC and to learn from my mistakes and not make the mistakes I originally made ever again.
So I started learning technical analysis (TA) and FA.
Near the end of November, I got tired of watching my portfolio drop for months.... I decided to sell all my alts off at a loss, and I ended up with about 22 BTC...Remember, I had originally invested 80 BTC so I just took a huge loss...Turned 80 btc into 22 btc.
So in basically a month with a lot of TA and FA I have turned that into roughly ~ 81 BTC.
Key things to take away from this story is:
1. Sometimes you just have to know when to cut your losses and start fresh
2. It's okay to make a mistake the first time, but always learn from it and never make it again.

(By the way the app I'm using is Delta https://getdelta.io/
On top of that I have around ~10-12 BTC in my Ledger in cold storage that is not included in those screenshots.
Shoutouts to people that have helped throughout this journey:
Grizzlies We started off our journeys in crypto pretty much together, and it's been one hell of a ride. It's crazy how life can change in such a small period of time.
Bull has been a friend of mine for many years here, and he taught me a lot of stuff TA wise that has helped me a ton in recovering my loss over the past few weeks.
Cameron/Phil (from Bull's student program) - Very helpful and learned a lot of stuff from them.
Mr Kewl
If I haven't mentioned you then I'm sorry it's 3am here lol need to go to sleep
My Journey:
1. Just turned 30K into 114K in less than 3 weeks. by Cryptic™
2. Just cashed out 3.8M DGB for $144500 by Cryptic™
3. I also just cashed out all my XRP. Made $27450 by Cryptic™
And yes, there will be the trolls that say these screenshots are bullshit, well if you wanna think that then go right ahead. If you know me from the beginning then you know it's what's up.
This will also be the last "bragging" thread related to crypto I post on HF. I posted this to hopefully motivate and inspire other people on this site that anything is possible. If you go through the 3 threads I posted above, and look at the dates, I've made a million dollars (technically twice) in less than a year. I started with a 1K investment to test the waters, turned it into 27K in a few weeks, and a few months later I'm at a million. Yes I probably put 20-30K of my own money into this during the beginning but that is still insane. Set a goal for yourself, and work towards it everyday and make it come true..
