My thread selling extra keyboards got closed for fraud?

It was closed for "fraudulently obtained item". I had like two keyboards for sale that were still in the packaging.
If it is deemed as that by staff, okay.. but I'd like to know how that logic goes? Just because something is new its automatically fraudulently obtained? Lol. They were extras from office.
I'm sure you can find stuff being sold that is more "fraudulently" obtained than my two keyboards.

p.s. I don't know if this is the right place to appeal it or if there is even one but i think this is it.
The staff/moderator probably assumed your items were social engineered and closed the thread. I BELIEVE that it's strictly against site policies but I wouldn't take it from me. I am not the most experienced in relation to rules and policy.

That's a really wild assumption. Theres nothing to indicate that here besides that they are new?
So staff logic would be new = SE'd. I'm currently chatting with minimalist in the PMs to get this sorted though hopefully. If it comes down to it and I can't sell them here, a disappointment but not a big deal.
This is the right place to put this thread.

Was it an apple keyboard? Was it a replica/fake keyboard?

I see nothing in the Help Docs against this so long as it's not an apple product or replica merchandise.

No it was logitech. I think you're confused as to what they meant by fraudulent. I think they mean stolen/scammed.
They wanted receipt / proof of purchase from me but aint nobody got time to be diggin that up. I don't even think eBay does that. Lol.
Whatever I suppose. Sort of weird.

I see the point. But "bulk" is kind of a over statement, I had two keyboards to sell.
And top of the range is also kind of an overstatement as well. These are kinda outdated and cheap compared to top of the range ones.

Like I said, if it was deemed to much of a risk for whatever reason, then whatever. Just kind of weird since I think I've seen other stuff in the marketplace that would raise alerts way before mine ever did.

Your thread was selling Razer mice and Corsair keyboards right? I remember seeing that yesterday.

Yeah. The mice were unavailable I got rid of them IRL.
So I was only selling two keyboards. Corsair k68s.

I didn't want to deal with eBay's payment holding for new sellers and all that shit.
thought HF would have less strict rules lol. All good. I'll just keep em ig.
I guess it fell into this category.

Blackhat Dropshipping is the act of creating fraudulent orders which are shipped to a person then reshipped to a third party. It's basically a process in what's commonly called "carding." We do allow legit discussion on drop shipping that does not involve carding or fraud.

They were likely assuming you were going to purchase these high-end keyboard with stolen credit cards and sell them to members on here. As such, to protect members' interests, your thread was closed.

I don't speak for the staff, but this is the only explanation that makes sense, only reference to be found in Help Docs. Not sure if it'd warrant a warning, but closing threads should be at staff's discretion and obviously yours was deemed to be fraud.
Just go sell them somewhere else lol.

oh wow ur a genius!
Just PM a staff member and explain the explanation.
They will give you the run down on why your thread was closed. Though no explanation is due, they normally are nice enough to tell you why.

The issue with this is he is unaware of the staff member who closed his thread.

He received a warning from the thread and can see who issued him the warning.
Message that staff member and get your exact answer.
I looked at his thread. He should have left it alone. Not going to believe his lie that these were "extras from office".
