Evidence of Ancient Humans Slept Around
Human DNA clearly indicates that our ancient ancestors mated with Neanderthals without abandon. However, scientists have recently discovered a new possible mate hidden in the DNA, the Denisovan. They have also found evidence that this was not a one-time thing. They believe that the inbreeding took place in two phases. According to biostatistician Sharon Browning, Ph.D., “In this work with East Asians, we find a second set of Denisovan ancestry that we do not find in the South Asians and Papuans.” Her work at the University of Washington, along with a team from Princeton University, compared 5600 genome sequences from every continent with preserved samples of Denisovan DNA. >>Source

Lack of Sleep Affects us More Than we may Know
As I am sure many of you are aware, things start to feel different after being awake for long enough. There is now more scientific evidence to back up this phenomenon. Sleep deprivation has a plethora of previously known side effects, as well as a few new ones. The biggest one would be increased levels of anxiety, something not immediately apparent to a person. More generally though, deprivation makes us far more susceptible to negative stimuli. A study was conducted to confirm just this. Those that were sleep deprived for a period of 24 hours experienced far more intense reactions to stimuli across the board. >>Source

Kim Jong-Un Reportedly to Attempt a Peace Treaty with Trump
Amidst recent conflict, it seems that North Korea and its dictator could have moved past the mentality of warfare and is now in search for ultimate peace. It is no secret that President Donald Trump and supreme leader Kim Jong-Un have had their feuds in the past, as Trump’s tweets have made it apparently so. For nearly 60 years, United States and North Korea have been operating coincidingly under a ceasefire, in order to guarantee the safety of each country’s standing. Per the NY post, ‘There were agreements between the U.S. and North Korea to open up discussion on a peace treaty.’ Trump and his organization confirmed the meeting with 5’7” Kim Jong-Un, though no date has been specified as of yet. It is to be believed that a sit-down between the two could be presented by just May, report say. Along this peace treaty, a spokesperson for Kim Jong-Un says, is that a possibility of launching a United States embassy is additionally on table of discussion. >>Source >>Source

UK-turned Russian spy Poisoned with Military-developed Nerve Agent
Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia are in critical condition after being attacked by a military-grade nerve agent allegedly developed by Russia. Prime Minister Theresa May stated that the chemical used to hospitalize former Russian Spy and United Kingdom informant Sergei and his daughter “has been identified as one of a group of nerve agents known as Novichok.” On March 4, 2018, “[Sergei] Skripal, 66, and his daughter, Yulia, 33, were found slumped on a bench in Salisbury city [center].” They are in critical but stable condition and are being treated cautiously and effectively. The detective who discovered the two, Sgt. Nick Baily, was also exposed to this nerve agent and has, too, been hospitalized. He “remains seriously ill, but has been talking to his family.” May instructed the Kremlin to provide an explanation for this occurrence, though no statement was provided, which then the United Kingdom declared its official position on this occurrence, where they placed full responsible for incident on Russia, stating that it was their doing. >>Source

House Republicans claim no Collusion in 2016 Election
House Republicans have concluded their intelligence interviews, finding no evidence that Russia had assisted President Donald Trump become elected. Furthermore, they also stated that no evidence was found to prove the “Trump campaign colluded with Russia,” which has resulted in the closing of their yearlong investigation into the matter. As the Democrats have determined a different result, it is to be expected that many heads will collide and cause further tensions between the already-divided committee. Trump went to Twitter to release this news, stating “THE HOUSE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE HAS, AFTER A 14 MONTH LONG IN-DEPTH INVESTIGATION, FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF COLLUSION OR COORDINATION BETWEEN THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN AND RUSSIA TO INFLUENCE THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.” Though the Republicans admit Russians did meddle with the 2016 Presidential Election, they disagree with the accusation that it was to benefit Trump. >>Source

March's Pokemon Go Community Day Exclusive Event Move Revealed
The Pokemon Day event for Pokemon Go will be starting shortly this March 25. The previous Pokemon Community Day was a disaster and those who attended the first one in 2017 were highly disappointed. The first event happened in 2017 in a park in Chicago. Players were not allowed to bring certain items into the venue so many people had to leave their belongings outside as a safety precaution. In addition, water was scarce and those who were thirsty were not able to get water. Another major thing people disliked was the phone service! People were unable to connect to the game. It was an outrage as many people flew in from out of the Chicago area to have a day and money wasted. This time around Niantic will be hosting it everywhere. That means instead of a specific venue, everyone will be able to participate worldwide as the event is global and not in a specific spot. The event will begin in the late afternoon and end around your local dinner time (Timezone conflicts, the best way to describe when it starts and ends). During the event, players will obtain triple XP for each capture they get. Lure modules used during the event will last for a wild three hours. The mascot of this event is not Pikachu despite being the most-known Pokemon character, but instead, Bulbasaur will be in the spotlight during the event. Bulbasaur will have an increased spawn rate and its final evolution, Venusaur, will be able to learn an exclusive move, Plant Frenzy, that can only be learned on Pokemon Go Community Day. >>Source

Drake Sets Records With His Fortnite: Battle Royale Twitch Debut
One of the most popular streams occurred this past weekend when the professional streamer and ex-pro Halo player Tyler “Ninja” Blevins played with the famous rapper Drake on Fortnite. During the time that this was occurring, Ninja's view count peaked over 600,000 viewers almost breaking Twitch's most-viewed history of over one million viewers. Ninja managed to beat Dr. Disrespect's record of over 300,000 viewers after returning from a ban. Although Ninja didn't break the most viewed history he did create a new milestone for a huge peak in concurrent viewers on an individuals channel. In addition to almost peaking one million viewers, Ninja had obtained over 60,000 subscribers in just one night which alone not counting donations amounts to over $250,000. The two played for a couple of hours before squadding up with the rapper Travis Scott. What a night, right? Would you watch Drake if he started streaming? >>Source

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Leaked On Amazon Italy
A possible easter egg was found on Amazon's Italian website. The popular e-commerce website had a store page saying that this April 30, a remastered version of Call of Duty: MW2 would be released. This is a rumor of course. Activision has not made an announcement on whether or not there will be a remastered version of the game, but many fans of the CoD series would die for it to happen. We do know that Black Ops: 4 will be released later this year but if a remastered version of CoD: MW2 was released the sales chart would be out of this world. Here is the link to the picture of the Amazon sales website. >>Source
