Hi, as the new leader of Superior, I decided to make my intentions for the group public. The initial goal of our group was to provide a place for intelligent individuals to collaborate on projects, make new contacts and work together within the group subforum. This goal has not changed under my leadership, but I don't want the group to be entirely serious so I'm going to cut out a lot of the formalities. At the moment, I need to figure out who is staying in the group and who is leaving. We should be opening a recruitment soon. I want to get our lounge a bit more active and have each member posting in the group daily and checking in with us. I'm not going to make that a mandatory requirement, but obvious inactivity will obviously not be tolerated.

So, I'm leaving this thread open to the public. We have a few sectors of the group which are about specific topics, but I want to let the community know that I am taking control of the group and I'm going to try to get us to where we want to be and working in the way that we should. I am obviously open to community suggestions, the group in itself is very general, however, we do work on several projects on a regular basis. At present, most projects have been completed so we're open to new ideas but would still like to continue working in the current sectors which we have.

I'll give more information about the inner-working of the group in our recruitment thread (which will be opened up soon). I just want to hear the community's opinion about the group before moving any further. So... Inspire me!

Here are my 'Steps to Success':

1. Getting the lounge more active.
   


2. Kicking inactive members.
   


3. Getting a focus on projects which members are interested in.
   


4. Keeping the group going at the same pace.
   

So yeah, we just want an active group where we can work together to complete projects. It's a bit of a marketing-styled group in a way too, we can work together on group-themed products and use the group as branding. Not to mention having a cool place to chill out and discuss topics with smart individuals on HF and collaborate across the entire group.

No, not at all. Superior is focused solely on working together on projects. But, apart from working on projects we will be posting a lot in the lounge.

Basically, you are recruited for your skills, and then you are to be active in the lounge as well as your sectors.

Sort of. I didn't want to explain the inner-working too much in the OP, but basically we have sectors where you work on projects. The sector leaders work on specific things/jobs and collaborate with their sector. Aside from that, we don't work on anything in specific. We do have a lounge and I want to get the lounge active, and then get the sector leaders working on some more projects. The idea is that an active lounge will lead to active sectors working on their projects.

Lol. I do want an active lounge. Likely not as active as Terminal, but I want people logging on and posting daily. That's honestly a must. But yes, we will be working on lots of projects.
With 30 members, we should expect around 100 posts per day in the lounge. Then we will also have members working regularly on projects.
