MyAlerts defaults to white if you've already read it. It's a common issue with this plugin on darker themes, and a simple fix for Omniscient.

By the way, I've tested it out and it shows the name of the person who rates your thread. Will be useful and glad this is showing it, but not sure if Omniscient wants it that way.

Yep, MyAlerts has been around for a long while now and it's a very stable plugin. Not sure if Omni has tweaked it a little bit or if it's changed since I've last installed it on a forum, but yes, it is certainly MyAlerts.

I know you aren't a big fan of the plugin. But, if you get Xerotic to tweak it around, it will end up looking really nice and working very well with the forum, I'm confident of that. I've seen plenty of forums use this plugin and make it work well.

I'm not really a fan of the way the plug-in functions either, but it should get the job done for many users.

I just had one more question can you change the color of it to like red when alerts pop up so it's more noticeable because the all black can be hard to see.

Ooh, I actually had altered MyAlerts to do just that - Let me know if you want the source code/logic of how I did it. 😉
