If you open PMs normally alert will still show so I think that’s a bug other than that, awesome!

Huh, it appears now that whenever you get a notification it will be green.
Refresh your cache, it's appearing as green now when you have 1 or more. Not sure who added it, but good work!
I'm really underwhelmed by the functionality of this plugin. And how it's coded is just abhorrent imho.

Maybe Xerotic can continue working on his own Alerts plugin. I feel like a plugin like this may be slightly problematic on a large forum too tbh..

Was missing this plugin on HF im very happy it's finally added - BIG PLUS FOR HF! A bit late though but i prefer late over never for sure! 
I genuinely thank you for this feature

If I check my unread PM without going through the notifications, the notification stays there. It should be automatically marked read/removed if the PM is read. Havent tested this with threads yet
