Bitdefender or Kaspersky Internet Security 2018

Been stuck in between, hard to decide which one to get.

I've been with kaspersky for about 3 years, but I recently did some research and it seemed like Bitdefender kind of ended up on top.

Any suggestions guys?

I suggest you migrate to a unix OS that doesn't have a built-in backdoor.

Now if you are unable to do this, I would highly suggest you purchase ESET NOD32 anti-virus. It is the more effective AV system in the world at the moment.

Avast and Kaspersky are currently tied for the #2 spot in my opinion... but ESET shits on everything.

Yeap. Eset is best AV in my opinion too but your best AV is your mind. Think twice before install or open something :)

totally agree this guy ESET NOD32 anti-virus is best av i have used it's hard to bypass it and have very good web protection options
bitdefender is the best I moved from Kaspersky to bitdefender
Kaspersky's better. Even the Free version would be worth it if you don't want to buy it.

My era of providing technical support and malware removal on HackForums is over, so you can stop PM'ing me about it. Sorry.
Kaspersky
ESET
Bitdefender

In that order..

Bitdefender is clunky and unefficient compared to kaspersky.

Bitdefender is always best
Kaspersky is memory taker many companies use the bitdefender as trusted
First things first: If Kaspersky works for you, then there's no need to change. We got a clear point here. Thing is i don't feel it's working the best for me. Recent issues i've not been liking about Kaspersky:

Application Control delaying software installation/removal
Lack of firewall notifications
Lack of notifications when software tries to create connections with a website/server (BitDefender does this)

I will still be using Kaspersky until my license is over, but i want to be informed for when the time arrives.

I've been having a look at BitDefender and i've been very pleased with the results i've seen. I'm wishing to hear your experiences with this product if they have been recent. Basically, what i need is it to be user-dependant, e.g notify me for everything and make me aware of everything that's happening on the background, a decent customizable firewall and great dynamic (on-execution) protection. I want it to be customizable and have great variety of options to play with and achieve maximum protection.

Though I believe both Kaspersky and BitDefender are solid with their features and provide excellent security. At the end, it depends according to the requirement of the individual that which one should choose over other.
