Noob at this and i think its making my pc act weird

i used intel extreme tuning utility


how do i reset all settings on there? thanks

Go to BIOS and load factory settings.
Remove CMOS battery for a few min.

All CPU overclocking should be done in BIOS, in my opinion.

cpu and gpu overclocking is done in different programs right? i have nvideo gtx and a intel cpu. And i can use msi afterburner for gpu right? but intel i should use bios u say?

Yes CPU should be done in BIOS.
For the GPU use either MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision X.

ok is it as simlple as it seem? on afterburner i literallly only have like 4 options. and its to turn them up or down. So i should find how high i can turn them up as long as pc down overheat?
