I would like to state that I am not trying to discourage anyone from E-Whoring. I am simply making this thread to let people who are most likely of a younger audience know what risks and what consequences they could face if caught. A lot of people seem to think the police won't care, that simply is a misconception, if you are caught it could be very serious for you, depending on different variables, such as if you have been caught doing anything else, any other crimes you could have committed which they find out - the nature of these crimes and your age. I would also like to make it clear that I have E-Whored in the past and have stopped because of how boring it was and after considering the effects can be on people. Most of what I am saying will apply to the UK, as I know of cases of people getting caught over here and what happened to them. Lets say you are under the age of 18, and you get caught and the police come round, the first thing that will happen is most if not all devices that can connect to the internet that they think will have evidence on will be seiged, you will not get this back for a number of months, most likely 6+, you will be taken for an interview, maybe more and then they will decide what the outcome will be. If you have only E-Whored then you will most likely only get a Caution for fraud by false representation. On the other hand if you have commited further crimes such as RATing people, then you could face a more serious punishment and be taken to caught for fraud by false representation and breaching a section of the computer misuse act, most likely you will also get a caution. Now lets say you took it to the more extreme and started to blackmail one of your E-Whoring victims and they report this, or they find evidence of this on your computer. Now this is where you are most likely not going to get a caution, unless you were completely 100% honest with them from the start. This is because blackmailing is considered a much more serious crime and is only dealt with in the Crown Court, which is serious as your parents will most certainly have to get a lawyer, pay for court fees, and maybe even pay back your victims that the police have managed to get in touch with. If you are over 18 you are most likely more screwed as you should know better, but younger people (under 18) are given more chances as cyber crime is not often discussed and children fall into the trap of not knowing and not thinking about what they are doing. I am only making this post because over time I notice alot of people, which i persume to be younger, ask the question if they will get in trouble or not and the most of the time people respond with "no, the police wont care". If you are caught they will care. This post is to enlighten people about the consequences they could face, and to make them choose what path to take, if you are going to continue make sure to be careful and not leave tracks. I hope this helps people understand more about what could happen if it goes wrong, which it can easily do if you are not careful. I also have no problem with grey/black hat methods or anything I am simply just trying to help some people out.
Read this if you are having doubts / worried about getting in trouble. |

Good read, I literally made a shorter version of this yesterday and the thread got locked lul.
However, I noticed you never mentioned that eWhoring, in general, is obtaining funds for yourself without the consent of the other party. (Pack of the victim) Which is indeed identity theft, which serves a harsh punishment depending on the factors. On a brighter note, this doesn't regard you... but the idiots who attempt to double dip on Amazon gift cards, do you realize that individual can get your full name once you redeem the credits on your account? Heh, something to think about and keep in the back of your mind if you wanna be greedy / scam the johns.
Why are you relating ewhoring to blackmailig? Ewhoring is another thing.
Those people are way too ashame to tell anyone that they actually bought nudes. We all know blackmailing is a crime and if u can read in this section conditions to be respected, No blackmail discussions thanks for the thread, earn, don't scam.

You may think it is utter crap, but this will happen to people and I am just trying to enlighten the younger people on here who may not know where there actions can take them. I understand what this thread is about, and I most certainly appreciate you bringing the consequences for getting caught to light. It’s still fraud by false representation. It makes no difference if you scam them or not. |
