I recently went and bought a MacBook and I swear now I keep it on my side.
I scrolled through this forum and I saw a lot of people downing apple and boosting Thinkpads and other Windows computers but im here to say that this is my favorite investment of this year. It sinks to my phone, OS is smooth and also runs all my apps smoothly and the wifi range is incredible.
If your on this thread wondering if Mac or Pc is better , in my opinion of having both and running them both to the limit Mac is the way to go
Still using my 2011 Macbook Pro lol
The mouse pad is godly. No others can compare.
It's perfect a trading laptop for me since it's only 13' inch and light IMO.
Brought a windows 10 and i love it.

Sounds like you haven't made it past 2013 in technology. 🤣
There are a lot of laptops out there now with equally good if not significantly better trackpads. The Asus Zenbook Pro definitely beats the 2011 macbook's trackpad as does the Dell XPS series since around 2014. Of course, not saying the Macbook's trackpad is bad, it was amazing when it came out and still hopefully works great.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER

How is that even remotly relevant?
Use a dell xps for my day to day work/studies, 8th gen cpu with 16gb RAM. It's light, powerful and perfect for everything I need to do. Also dual booting arch with my windows partition so I have the best of both worlds. Apple?
Apple is overpriced imo
I have an xps 15 for half the price with a better processor, GPU and more storage.
But if you enjoy it, then great :)
I love my Mac as well, got a late 2016 i 13'' i think and i use it daily, i prefer my PC tho since it has better specs.
Ehh they are overpriced for the specs you get.
But if you like them then more power to you.
When I bought my Mac I was looking at Windows computers as well . The Best Buy employee talked me into buying a Mac by bragging about how he has had his for years and it still runs smooth while on the other hand the Windows computers would gradually slow down after a few years of constant use (which is right).. Not sure if this is true that Macs don't slow down, but from my experience everything been smooth..
See and all of the windows laptops that I have ever bought have slowed down on me or the batteries shit out or even something happened with the screen. Got HP laptops, Lenovo, Toshiba, Dell and they all sucked for me. Minus the toshiba, just got bored of that one. When I’m using Windows, I want to use it on a desktop and monitor. If I’m using Mac I want to use it on a laptop. So I have a PC that I built as a desktop running windows, and a MAC laptop. That’s just the combo for me.
I use a MBP with touchbar myself on the go, great little machine!

Still got mine from 2013, best purchase i've ever made.
Anyone else noticed how much Apple have raised the prices of Macbooks now? Cheapest one starts at like £1,100+ now.
Definitely , The system is great but the screen is not retina which does suck
