I need a headphone expert.

Ok i need a headphone nerd if anyone exists in this forum.. I threw my headphones by accident down cuz i fell off my chair. (Don't ask how) and the headphones broke on the left side but it was only the plastic thingy that adjust the height.. I melt the plastic and glue it together and then i tried them on but i couldn't hear any sound from the right side. I unscrew the right side to see if the cable was cut anywhere but it doesn't seem so.. Also the inside of the speaker looks fine too.  The only thing i did not check was the wire inside the Headband because its not easy to remove and i dont have the tools right now to fix it (waiting for the tools to come). But after i told you what happened what do you think broke? I am leaning to the wire but i am not sure. What do u think?

The headphones i use are the Shure SRH840

You should post this on Head-Fi to get the proper help.

Thanks for the suggestions but i fixed the problem.. It was indeed the wire. I bought the tools and fixed it myself.
