Though the Requests for hacking section is probably one of the most active sub-forums, it also seems to attract the most LQ posts. I propose adding a prestige requirement of 5 to post in the section (similar to the new requirements Omni just made for some other subforums).
This should cut down on some of the threads from newly registered accounts looking for free hacking without any intention of contributing to the forum (though a decent amount will probably just post the same thread in other sections)
The real impact will be in the reduction of multi account and newly registered scammers who pray on new members in this section and potentially turn new members off of HF before they have a chance to become active.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
One thing you should always know you see, Omni has his priorities straight. Its in the Help Docs and Sticky bot "Staff DO NOT get involved in deals" nor vouch for products/person(s). Whence, new members are at their own risk. Good thinking. nevertheless, not ontop of the list.

Oh yea, I definitely don't think this is a huge priority. I just thought it would be an easy change and a way to protect new members without having the staff get involved in any deals
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
I mean I agree but then where would I get my daily dose of comedy?

This has been discussed before... Let me find the thread.
The answer was no, it's there for a reason.
Edit: I can't seem to find it.
But basically that section is designed for LQ/new members, if we restrict that area they will just post elsewhere.
Edit2: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5571585
I'm sure it generates very high click through rated threads for Google. Plus, experienced members know to steer clear of that forum.
I still support this.

Oh ok. I only searched a year or two back because I know the prestige system has been changed a few times. I could have still searched farther though
Quote:We know the section isn't of highest quality, that's the point of it. If RFH didn't exist, all your other subforums will be filled with those posts. So helps to curb down lot of requests in random subforums..

My suggestion was way less extreme, but you can definitely still cite the same reason for denying this suggestion
