Also, I keep all my passwords encrypted in password manager, no password reusing (and I was never hacked).
I don't see any point of using 2FA as it doesn't protect you from anything, it just complicates your life and many people lost their account because of that overhyped shitty feature.

Idk what you're doing but it takes maybe 10 seconds to use 2fa. You just sound too lazy or dumb to use it tbh.

If you have your 2FA and your account isn't working then it's 99% your device time.

OP looks like he changed his 2FA at one point so I can't be sure if his backup code is his current 2FA secret or the past one. He may not have updated his backup code. He has to PM me or use the contact form and I confirm which one it is.

@ntoskrnl.exe - Banned and if you come back and don't 2FA I'm closing your account. I won't tolerate you telling members to not use a very important security feature. For those who have 2FA trouble, it's on their end and the system works extremely well. It's user error when it doesn't work.

If you can't see any of the benefit 2FA has given the forum then you are blind. You have great password security. Combined with 2FA it'd be great. If you get 'exposed', then only you really get exposed, as most other members will be using 2FA.

I do take your point though, if you have a strong password and the database is leaked, then you're probably fine, nobody will be able to crack your hash.
Still, 2FA is a cool feature when used correctly.

Why should I care?
I am here since 2011, before 2FA was even introduced, if he wants to close me he will close me.
And AFAIK 2FA is not mandatory by any rule. 🤝
