Vortex Cloud gaming

I think I just lost $9.99 from this, I thought when the game is being played on the vortex app it would give the game more graphic support.

Damn am sad now I can't buy a netflix account
I'm confused, what did you spend your money on?

vortex is a platform where you pay for access to specialized servers for games (with good GPU), then you make a remote desktop connection, and it is as if you were playing with another computer (if the internet is a shit does not work)

Oh so he thought he was paying for better graphics but he actually paid for better GPU performance with another computer?

Yes, in theory if you had a "good" internet you would have to play that game with good performance and decent graphics, but that also has to do with your current screen and your current computer, the ability to process the information received.

In this publication, he explains it more objectively https://unixblogger.com/2018/01/07/revie...g-service/
Well I don’t think Vortex can remote connect lol
That's pretty cool but that means you would have a whole lot more connection lag.
Geforce Now would be a great alternative. However, it's still in beta. You can sign up for their waitlist or buy redeem codes for the beta access, but I'm uncertain for those codes, haven't seen them here.

OP, I would never use Vortex :x

I've used several game streaming services and they are all terrible, I have 200mbit 1ms internet. The game is always extremely stuttery and there is so much input lag and the image is very compressed. Game streaming is still pointless as over time you will spend the same amount of money as you would on an actual capable PC or laptop without these issues.
