I was just curious to see if anyone else is still playing Bless online.

Once Steam decided to allow everyone to unconditionally refund it.. It seems most of the player base is gone.
Personally, I don't see why people hate on it so much. It's honestly a fairly decent game for the price.
A lot of the complaints I hear are: "But it's not as good as WoW", "It's combat system is trash", "The optimization is awful"

I've played WoW for many years so I'll start by addressing that. Of course it's not going to be as polished as a game that has been in development for 20 years.

I wouldn't necessarily say the combat system in Bless is trash. It's just different and has a learning curve.  

With Bless being released in multiple other regions before being brought to the West (after being bought out and partially reworked by the current company that owns it), of course it's going to run on an older engine. Most of the performance issues can be fixed with small edits to the INI files. (if you care there's a Reddit thread on all the edits)

Overall I'd say it's a solid 7/10

It's not a WoW killer by any means, but It's a change of pace.

I didn't really look into it that much, but I think I heard the optimization was really bad and there was actually no end game content. Supposedly the korean version also still had these problems. I remember seeing it a view months ago and everyone was hyping it up. Must've just been too high of expectations. From the little bit of footage I saw of it, I like the style and layout a lot.

They're releasing all the end game content if a week or two (as per an announcement from the company). So if you consider getting into it, I'd wait like 3 weeks if you're unsure. That way you're able to get an idea what end-game is like from watching streams

and yeah, the layout is really nice. It definitely has a learning curve though. I come from playing WoW so I'm used to spamming abilities. In Bless your rotations are primarily dependent on your 'R', 'T', 'Y' abilities after your initial cast of 1, 2, or 3. I'm still learning.. but it's very fun

I'm not a huge MMO fan. I haven't gamed in a while actually except some casual singleplayer games. One MMO I really enjoyed was Maplestory back in 2007-2011. An MMO for me is a social game so MS really did good in those years. I'm just waiting for a good one to come out and maybe I'll hop back in the scene. I may check out Bless in the future to see how the community is once the game's more developed.

An MMO for me is a social game so MS really did good in those years. I'm just waiting for a good one to come out and maybe I'll hop back in the scene. I may check out Bless in the future to see how the community is once the game's more developed.

I feel you, I have a buddy who's played a lot of MS back in the day. He was the one who actually got me into Bless.
It's a fairly social game in the sense that, for end game content.. you have to have a 5 man group.
I'm not sure if you'll get the comparison, but the community experience is similar to Vanilla World of Warcraft.

I haven't had a crash yet, I however have super beefy hardware.. I'm fairly certain that most people experiencing crashes have lower-mid tier hardware.
It's also possible that the people getting crashes haven't made the edits to the engines' .INI file

Complete flop from what I've heard. No engame content, they removed it or something like that, basically levelling/gearing for nothing.

With the most recent update, all damage was cut in half which is pretty dumb because now I cant really solo anything and I need to party up with someone. I heard they will fix it but in the meantime I wont play it.
