[TUTORIAL] Simple way to run a clearnet site with TOR network as backend

I didn't really knew where to put this so I purchased a sticky and placed it here. This is going to be a simple tutorial on how to run a clearnet website with the TOR network as backend.

What do I need for this tutorial?
You need to download:
- XAMPP
- Proxifier
- Tor Browser

The links are to their official websites. You are also gonna need a windows server (VPS / Dedicated) or a windows computer.

Let's start with installing XAMPP. Just follow the installation process.

Once it's installed you can edit your website content in the htdocs folder that is (as standard) located in C:\xampp\.

Now it's time to download and installing the Tor browser. Same as with XAMPP, just follow the basic installation process.

Next we will install Proxifier. This installation process is the same. However, we are going to do some configurations once it's installed.

Now the next thing we are going to do is open Proxifier. We are going to head over to Profile -> Name Resolution...

Make sure that these are your settings. This is to prevent DNS leaks.

Now we are going to start Tor Browser and make sure that we get this screen. If we do, we are ready for the next step.

Now open Proxifier and head over to Profile -> Proxy Servers...
On the new dialog that shows up we will click on Add and fill in 127.0.0.1 in the address and 9150 in the port field. We are also going to choose Socks5 as protocol.

Last step. Head over to Profile -> Proxification Rules...

Add the following rules:
1. Direct connection for the Tor network (tor.exe).
2. Force XAMPP/Apache (httpd) to run over the Tor network (127.0.0.1:9150 socks).

Congratulations! You are now running a clearnet website with the Tor network as backend.

How can I make sure that I'm actually doing this?
One easy way is to simply add a .php file in your htdocs folder with this simple PHP script.
PHP Code

<?php echo file_get_contents("https://api.ipify.org/"); ?>
Now just visit that php file from your computer and lookup the IP address that is being displayed on the screen. You can also check that connections has been made in Proxifier.

Warning: This is not the safest way to run a clearnet site with Tor network as the backend. It's just a very simple way that still works decent. Thanks for using this tutorial!
