Yes for sending it out, or to be downloaded from a URL it would require that.

Is it a must you need to zip it before uploading in a host?
And when the file is in zip, what does the file extension looks like while in the zip?

Yes needs to be in a zip, if you try to upload a .LNK ..... most of the time it wont upload, it will just upload the file the .LNK is pointed to.

In this case it would be Powershell.exe MSHTA.exe or Regsvr32.exe

And the extension will always be .LNK but on a Windows machine mLNK.jpg.lnk looks like mLNK.jpg.

If you search around I'm sure you can find some HEX editing techniques that would even permit that when viewed in a ZIP or RAR that you dont see the real .LNK extension.

To everyone waiting for me to send them mLNK.
