Depends on the email and the owner. I use to offer a target hack for 1 BTC when it was $1,000 a piece where i'd gain access to the targets phone or computer. It's always possible if you are in the right position.

Your only bet, like Mr.Robot said, is to get someone to target the owner for you... this requires time and some social engineering. Some people do it for cheaper, but it doesn't always produce results.

gaining access to emails and other accounts is pretty much all based around how much info you have on the person it can ether be extremely easy or hardly any info at all and be extremely hard
