Omni isn't linking to scam reports really important. No one should be getting scam rep without a full detailed scam report having been written using UID since people can change their names.

If there is a way to put a link to VALID meaning full detailed scam report that should be good.
I never agreed that anyone and everyone should have Deal With Extreme Caution on their profile even though everyone should deal with caution because this has been abused for silly things. But a link to a scam reports was an important part of the market place no?

So if I added an award for achieving a certain reputation goal that would be useless to you? Or if I created restrictions to sections based on reps that would be useless too? What if I provided discounts to upgrades to members with a certain reputation?

Honestly I looked at them when I got them and never checked it again. From time to time I would check if there was a fluctuation but I never honestly went and read them for teh feelz. After being repfucked 3 times, check that, 4 times now, you kind of realize that it really was nothing more than a popularity contest that turned into a circle jerk. It's a cool feature and I think it has a place here. But when people put it on a pedestal and act like it's some earthshattering stat, it's time for a deep breath.
